Al-Zahraa University for Women participated in the activities of the 4th Annual Scientific Conference titled “Contemporary Perspectives in Humanities and Social Sciences.” The university was represented by the Dean of the College of Education, Prof. Dr. Iman Sameer Bahya, and the Head of the Special Education Department, Asst. Prof. Dr. Nasreen Al-Jilawi, on behalf of the University President, Prof. Dr. Zainab Al-Mulla Al-Sultani.

The conference was held under the patronage of the Head of the Shiite Endowment Office, Prof. Dr. Haider Al-Shammari, and supervised by Mr. Alaa Abdul-Hussein Al-Qassam, Director General of the Research and Studies Department and the Conference Chair.

  • Liberation battles, jihad, support fronts, and regional and international repercussions.
  • The stance of the religious authority on the Palestinian issue.
  • Studies in political and legal sciences.
  • Studies in Arabic language and literature, and English language and literature.
  • Islamic and historical studies.
  • Philosophical, social, anthropological, and psychological studies.
  • Studies in media and arts.

    This participation highlights Al-Zahraa University for Women’s dedication to scientific and cultural matters, as well as its ongoing efforts to contribute to academic and intellectual activities within Iraq, reflecting its commitment to advancing knowledge and engaging in meaningful scientific dialogues.
