English Department

The English Language Department was set up with the establishment of Al-Zahraa University for Women in 2018-2019 for morning study. The department awards a bachelor’s degree in English language and literature, including a four-stage study program with the aim of developing and enhancing the students’ educational abilities in literature and language in addition to reinforcing their cognitive skills. The department prides itself on a bright group of the best tutors in various specializations, including linguistics, English literature, and teaching methods, to train and teach female students how to think critically and creatively and to provide them with modern teaching methods. All these efforts are mainly devoted to the preparation of successfully graduated female educators in society in order to cater to the needs of the labor market in the fields of education, translation, conversation, and written articles. The sources of the department’s educational service are diverse. They are optimally utilized thanks to the latest educational equipment such as smart classrooms and modern laboratories to ensure the achievement of the vision and goals set for the desired outcome.
